Jerome began his career in finance, serving as an auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers and as a financial analyst for Centinela Hospital. He then founded St. Joseph Medical Managers, Inc. with his wife, Maria Romea, and continues to oversee the company's management and operations.

Maria has over thirty years of experience in the healthcare industry. She began working for Citibank in Cebu, Philippines. She then moved to the United States and worked for Physicians Administrators, Inc., a billing company formerly-based in Los Angeles. With her experience, Maria began St. Joseph Medical Managers, Inc. and runs the company's operations.
